Accessibility Statement
GEBETSROITHER ŠIBENIK RESORT D.O.O. strives to make its website www.sibenik-camping.com accessible in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies, implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102. This statement is issued pursuant to Article 3 of the Croatian Accessibility Act.
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.sibenik-camping.com.
Status of Compliance with the Requirements
The website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity level AA. There are currently barriers that are being gradually addressed.
Non-accessible Content
The following content is not fully accessible for the following reasons:
- Alternative texts for images: Some images and icons lack alternative text or have insufficient alternative text.
- Form elements without labels: Some form elements are not correctly labeled, which limits usage via screen readers.
- Unlabeled controls: There are buttons on the site that lack a programmatic name.
- Missing or incorrect ARIA attributes: Some ARIA roles and labels are not correctly implemented.
- Color contrasts: Some texts and graphic elements do not have sufficient contrast.
- Heading structure: The hierarchical structure of headings is not correctly implemented in some places.
These deficiencies were identified through an automated analysis using the “WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool.” A comprehensive manual review is currently pending.
Reasons for Existing Barriers
Some of the existing barriers are due to technical and organizational circumstances as well as the use of third-party components. Full barrier-free implementation currently represents a disproportionate burden within the meaning of Article 5 of the Croatian Accessibility Act. However, we strive for continuous improvement.
Planned Measures
GEBETSROITHER ŠIBENIK RESORT D.O.O. plans to gradually eliminate the existing barriers as part of ongoing maintenance and development measures, in particular through:
- Improvement of alternative texts
- Correct labeling of all form fields
- Enhancement of color contrasts
- Optimization of ARIA attributes and heading structure
